103系
エメラルドグリーンの103系は、当時は居住地と離れていたために見慣れず、そのため見かけると、珍しさからついつい寄って行ってしまうような存在だった。実車はE231系に替わ り、2006年で引退した。
模型はマイクロエースの10両編成。所属するマイクロ車の中では、比較的当たりの部類。実車では103系としては最長の15両編成での運用があった。

415系（国鉄標準色）
つくば万博に合わせて白い車体になる前は、ローズピンクの塗色を纏っていた。幼少時は鉄道にあまり興味がなかったため、リアルタイムで見た記憶はあまりない。
模型はKATOの特別企画品8両編成。実車は、白との混色編成等も存在した。
