北陸地方
ここでは、JR西日本所属（国鉄時代のものも含む）の北陸方面行きの急行列車を紹介します。
489系（能登）
能登は客車時代から上野駅でよく見かけていた列車で、1993年から489系で運転されるようになった。これは白山と共通運用のはずで、いつからか国鉄色になった。
模型はKATO。2012年の入線。
475系（立山）
この列車をリアルタイムで知っているわけではないが、直流の165系を好む人間としては、交直流版の455系、475系 は外せないところ。北陸地方を、グリーン車2両とビュッフェを連結した12両の長編成で走破した堂々たる姿に魅了され、品薄だった時代にバラバラに揃えたものである。
模型はKATO。2007年入線。ロットが違う上に、455系と475系が混ざったりしているが、細かいことは気にしまい。
